About this position 

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper - Accountant to maintain all our financial transaction and records up to date, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds a and accounting or finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages, like Quickbooks and or NetSuite. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and assist with the overall financial cycle of each project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Address and work on Human Resouces issues and items.

  • Work with PEO on HR items.

  • Supervise the overall functions and needs of the office and personell.

  • Reconciling credit cards charges.

  • Preparing daily/weekly billing to customers.

  • Applying cash receipts.

  • Collecting accounts receivable.

  • Assist with payroll processing and payments.

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.

  • Assign incomes and expenses to the right accounts.

  • Perform partial checks of the posting process

  • Enter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statements.

  • Job costing reports.

  • Financial budgets.

  • Other administrative and financial tasks as required.

Experience & Skills:

  • +5 Years Minimum Experienc.

  • Proven bookkeeping and accounting experience.

  • Problem solving.

  • Teamwork.

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.

  • Strong Communication Skills.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Associate or BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.

From 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Occasional overtime may be required. We know how essential weekends are for friends and family. While our fabrication volume may need occasional overtime work and occasionally during weekends, this is something we try to avoid. We try to plan schedules around balancing work and family life.
